An Alternative to Toxic Compact Fluorescents

Compact fluorescent bulbs, widely touted as more eco-friendly than their incandescent brethren, arguably pose a greater environmental threat by leaking mercury into our rivers and oceans. This company touts LEDs as the most eco-friendly alternative.
