A use for the desert

Um... I save water by drinking rum and such instead.
All the plants on my property are cacti and other desert shrubbery that was already rooted when I bought it, so no watering needed, just to trench a bit once it's not so cold.
I'd like to get solarpower as it seems useful here in the desert. Wind-power would also be nice, seeing as I've watched my shed blow away in the wind.
Yes, people, please weight yourself before leaving the building!
